Vancouver, British Columbia, November 15, 2004: Roca Mines Inc. (the "Company" or "Roca") announces the appointment of Mr. John J. Watkins, P.Geo. as Senior Project Geologist. Mr. Watkins was instrumental in the recent volcanogenic massive sulphide ("VMS") discoveries at the FOREMORE VMS-Gold Project.
Mr. Watkins is a consulting geologist with more than 30 years of exploration and mining experience specializing in VMS deposits. His experience includes work for Falconbridge, Homestake, Lac Minerals, Texasgulf, and Westmin among others, at projects and mines throughout Canada, the United States, Latin American and the South Pacific. Mr. Watkins was awarded a M.Sc. and a B.Sc. in Geology from Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario.
Mr. Watkins will be paid a consulting fee for his services and will be granted 200,000 options exercisable for a period of five years at an exercise price of $0.25 per share. He brings a wealth of expertise to the Company and we are very pleased to welcome Mr. Watkins to the Roca team.
