Scott Broughton, P.Eng.
Position: President, Chief Executive Officer and Director

Scott E. Broughton is the President and Chief Executive Officer and a director of the Company. Mr. Broughton is a Professional Engineer with over 20 years of experience in the mining industry that spans exploration, mine design, mine development and operations, consulting engineering and project management, specialist geotechnical services, business development and the formation and management of public companies. Mr. Broughton has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering from Queens University and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia.

 
John Mirko
Position: Director

John M. Mirko is a director of the Company. Mr. Mirko has approximately 30 years experience in a number of areas within the resource and mining sectors, including prospecting, geology, geophysics, geochemistry, property evaluation, project management, property acquisitions and options, tendering of service contracts, mine development and rehabilitation, and construction of mine sites, camps, roads and airfields.

 
David J. Skerlec
Position: Chief Financial Officer, Secretary and Director

David J. Skerlec is the Chief Financial Officer and Secretary and a director of the Company. Mr. Skerlec has over seven years experience with a Vancouver-based Investment dealer, lastly as a Vice President, Corporate Finance where he specialized in exploration finance. His diverse background includes over five years experience in the junior mining business where he supervised exploration and production at a placer gold mine. Mr Skerlec received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario, his Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from York University and in 1999, was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

 
Ernest Peters
Position: Director

Ernest Peters is a director of the Company. Mr. Peters has over 35 years experience in the mining industry having been involved with the formation, management and financing of a number of public resource companies. His experience in the resource sector includes exploration, development and production management of projects in Canada, United States, Brazil, Mexico and Australia.

 
John Baker
Position: Director

Mr. Baker is a geologist with over 38 years of experience in the minerals exploration industry including; directing large exploration efforts in British Columbia during the 1970's and 80's, and at various times significant exploration programs conducted in Ireland and Alaska, in addition to work in Nevada and Mexico. He has experience on a wide variety of mineral deposit types, including; volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS), sedimentary exhalative (SEDEX), skarns, various porphyry types, epithermal gold/silver and mesothermal deposits. In the late 1980's and 90's Mr. Baker was instrumental in directing and managing the growth of JT Thomas Drilling Ltd., a successful international diamond drilling company that was ultimately acquired by Major Drilling Group International Inc. in 1997.

 
John Kiernan, P. Eng.
Position: Vice President, Mining

Mr. Kiernan is a mining engineer with 22 years of operating and engineering experience in the mining industry, including; capital project implementation, mine design, underground development, production engineering and operations scheduling. In addition, he brings experience as a principal mining engineer from his eight years with AMEC/MRDI, and six years as a mine planning engineer and project manager with INCO in Sudbury, Ontario and Thompson, Manitoba.

Mr. Kiernan has worked on a number of base metal, diamond and gold projects in North America and internationally, including; Campbell Red Lake, Creighton, Diavik, Getchell, Pogo, Snap Lake and Nanisivik. He has also worked as a financial analyst and qualified person and has built economic models to assess project viability including consideration of risk through simulation, scenario and sensitivity analyses. Mr. Kiernan is a member of the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (CIM) and is a past Chairman of the Vancouver Branch of the CIM.
