ROCA's MAX Molybdenum Mine Production Resumes

Vancouver, British Columbia: Roca Mines Inc. (TSX-V: ROK) announces that all operations, including the underground mine, mill and concentrator, have successfully recommenced at the MAX molybdenum mine, 60 kilometres southeast of Revelstoke, British Columbia. Underground operations at MAX have restarted at the Phase I, 500 tpd production rate after successful completion of the 830 mL bypass on the main access ramp.

Over the past 11 months the underground MAX mine has been the focus of extensive geotechnical investigation, modeling and monitoring after various events impacted operations. The ultimate goal of this work is to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the underground mine, and to improve the understanding of the stability controls on current and future openings at the mine.

Management wishes to thank all personnel involved with the restart of operations for their efforts and continued commitment to the MAX molybdenum mine.
